You know the part in Tangled where Flynn and Rapunzel are waiting in the boat to see the lanterns and when they are finally released they fill up the whole sky and it's magical and romantic and all things wonderful? That, that right there is what they should use the island for. A real life lantern release ceremony. It would be wondrous.

Loved this episode! I'm a huge fan of both Disney World and Disneyland, so this was a perfect topic for me. I knew a lot of the trivia (including the fascinating Myst info), but there were still some new points for me. I'm also really into reading and hearing about Disney's approach to queues. Great job!

Listening to the podcast at work. Another Disney ride easter egg is on the Winnie the Pooh ride, formerly Mr Toads Wild Ride. There is a picture hanging early on in the ride of Mr Toad handing the deed over to Owl. A ride attendant once showed that to me.

Awesome podcast series, my friend just introduced it to me this past weekend. Just listened to this episode, but how could you guys not mention one of the craziest facts about Walt Disney World, which is that Walt wanted it to be the city EPCOT at first?!

If he lived long enough, it would have most likely been pushed through, instead of being scuttled and transformed into the Reedy Creek District that now houses the Disney world theme parks. And in fact, a bit of the spirit of EPCOT lives in in what is now Celebration, FL, a planned town that was built by the Disney corporation.
