Monday morning brain exercise!
Great work on the podcast! Just wanted to recommend, for those so interested in fairy tales that they'd dig some additional reading, "The Uses of Enchantment: The Meaning and Importance of Fairy Tales" by Bruno Bettelheim. Bettelheim was a child psychologist, and the book analyzes fairy tales as they relate to a child's psychological and emotional development (I think it was written in the 70's). He actually argued in favor of children reading the original versions of the tales; felt it would be better for their emotional growth down the line as they grew up.
Great job on the podcast!
Definitely shouldn't have listened to this episode at 2 in the morning, but well worth the rabbit hole I went down Googling more fairy tale backgrounds!
Very entertaining podcast. Love the random facts and topics so far.
Also thanks for watching the language. Sick of all the crude podcast.
Only recommendation is do more! 1 episode barely gets me to work.
YAY! I was 17 in 1991 too... (we just had our 20 yr high school reunion a few weeks ago). Don't be to mean to the elderly, we never know how much time we might have left.
