Hi Karen et al.
I like the podcast. I just wanted to let you know that I find it a bit quiet. It's not a big deal, I have epic headphones so feel free to use this information however you like. :)

@Kyle - Thanks! I realized I've been editing using my awesome headphones so a lot of what I was hearing is different than what it may sound like on regular headphones and car speakers. I actually reuploaded a louder file for this episode that I hope caters to listeners from both ends of the spectrum!

xoxo

Great episode! I love that Karen's favorite movie is "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" because I don't think it gets enough credit! The story, the characters, and the music are all great. Also one of my favorites, but I might cast my vote for "Children of Men". Dana might like that if she hasn't seen it already.

Great discussion of James Garfield and early attempts at air conditioning. A great book about Garfield and Alexander Graham Bell's attempts to save him from his own doctors is a great read as well.
