Ep 10: Animals Are Weird

Chris said it best: nothing that man can think up in science-fiction stories is crazier, creepier, and more disgusting than nature. Mother Nature is a very odd gal. We share our research on weird animals and behavior, and shocking animal ingredients in our everyday lives. Freelance bees, whale regurgitation, zombie ants, and the famous dog who ate everything.

ALSO: Pop quiz!, famous paradoxes, and how to memorize very specific parts of the male anatomy in a very particular order, NEW LISTENER CHALLENGE! (Don't forget to email your answers to gjb.podcast@gmail.com)

RUNTIME: 48 minutes 10 seconds

@Karen, about the fungus Colin was talking about. It's Cordyceps, and one of the species is well known in Chinese region as traditional medicine called 冬蟲夏草 (Dong Chong Xia Cao), which you might have eaten before !

Here are some of the wikipedia links:

@Karen - Don't worry; if you start climbing trees to reach sunlight, I'll call the fire department.

One of my favorite episodes, and congrats guys on your first double digit episode! Love the series, I look forward to Monday's every week.

PS: Any chance for a skeleton log-in system for the website or log-in integration? Would love that merely because it gives me some form of identity :) Also, would love to see a gaming episode or at least a segment at some point :D Maybe some neat or awkward moments in the gaming industry.

Again, love the show, don't stop!

Another paradox for you:

What happens if Pinocchio says: "My nose will grow."?

If it is a lie, his nose will grow. But if his nose does grow, it is therefore not a lie...and so on.

Animal nature and the behavior is very unique and people like to keep pet for their own experience of the animal care. The fashionable persons like to keep their animals to wear dress so that their look would be funny and beautiful. The behavior of the dogs will be friendly if you would be caring and loving towards her. One of my friend has a pet dog and he loves him a lot in the mean time he has to look towards the nutrition of the pet.
