Ironic to describe our plants show as "meaty" but boy oh boy, we cover LOTS of fantastic topics in this episode: poisonous plants, stinky plants, drug plants, and yes, we even named a plant our A-Hole of the Week! Deadly nightshade, durian & jackfruit, devious grass, reindeer drug mushrooms, and a special plant character quiz.

So weird. So Im watching food networks eat street(a show about food trucks) ans they show the ted allen commercial about dragonfruit which talks about it being great to try new things. I then relay the story about the difficulty with the jackfruit to my wife from the episode of yur podcast. The show comes back on and a truck called the seabirds(a vegan food truck) demonstrates one of their specialties.... a jackfruit taco. Coincidences like that are so cool.
