Would the penny farthing have saved the Velociraptor from extinction?
We can only wonder.
The top hat certainly would have been a poor substitue for a proper cycling helmet. And given the presumably poor condition of cycle trails/paths available during the Cretaeous Period, I fear their demise was assured.
Strangely, the position and odd proportion of the raptor's tiny arms seem more ideally suited to the penny farthing than those for a human.
