149: Collect All the Things!

(^^^ That's Chris!)

Gotta catch'em all! We celebrate trivia and facts about collecting and collectors: our resident Star Wars droid afficionado Colin quizzes us on eBay abbreviations, and our resident video game hoarder Chris regales us with the mysterious tale of Atari's real-life treasure of gold and jewels. What does a "vexillologist" collect? What about a "vapoludologist"? Karen witnesses how Disney pin trading gets seeded, and Dana's got a quiz on celebrities and the weird and specific stuff they collect. And are Grandma's Hummel figurines really worth something?

RUNTIME: 55 minutes 33 seconds

I loved your talk about Disney pins. I am a Disneyland Season Pass holder and a Disney Pin collector. I only collect the limited edition pins (LE) and I always make sure to get at least one new "season pass holder's only" pin during every visit. I display my pins in wall mounted shadow boxes in my office. They are a fun display piece and always catch the eye of any visitors. Thanks for sharing my hobby :)
