Holy comic book trivia, Batman! We battle against crime, and some of Marvel's silliest criminals ever in a REAL or FAKE comic book villain quiz. Learn what sets Japanese manga apart from American comics in terms of business and reading habits, and the very very real inspiration behind to very very fake Batman character. And if you like Brad Pitt or Laser quiz, then you'll love "BATMAN? OR TASER?" Colin shares some very outdated and ridiculous Comic Code Authority guidelines from 60 years ago.

Hi GJB team.

During the Marvel Villains quiz, Colin says he invented the team named Hell's Belles.

Well guess what! There was actually such a group in the 1990's X-Factor comics. The Hell's Belles were evil female mutants terrorists. See the following entry from the Marvel wiki.

Who would have guessed?

By the way, great show guys. I enjoyed it a lot.

Hi Gang: surprised you didn't mention Classic Comic Books in this episode. They were my first exposure to the medium and probably responsible for my love of classic literature. I remember some years ago hearing an interview with the Coen brothers who said that they relied heavily on the Classic Comic Book version of The Odyssey to write the script for O Brother Where Art Thou.

I enjoy the shows immensely. Keep up the good work, brains.

P.S. For your east coast meet up, you might want to check into Harrisburg Comic Con, scheduled for next June. Just a thought.

The title of this podcast is hilarious when read aloud by the roboticized voice of my iPod Shuffle! The title alone had me laughing for minutes! The rest of the podcast was almost as interesting ;)
