How to Memorize Pi

[From Episode 2: Once Upon A Gruesome Time]

Most of us know pi is about 3.14 but what about a few digits afterwards? This mnemonic trick is a little different than the usual acronym type. The number of letters in each word corresponds with the digit of pi.

How I wish I could calculate pi.

3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 2

3.141592

A more extensive mnemonic is.....
It's a tale I adore. Hedgehogs in rivers die and float, bringing ferocious warrior elephants who to you, may have rabies.

The best I could ever come up with was this:

Yes. I like a drink - alcoholic of course - but ale makes drinkers sometimes drunken, sometimes mad, or sad, even sleepy

I came up with it when I was 14... and have never forgotten it since!! Have only just recently discovered YOUR page though, and came on to find this post especially to share... It's not too hard to remember as the words aren't too weird, and it actually pertains a semblance of "making sense"! Enjoy! And loving the show!

Best EVER:

Doc, I need a drink -- alcoholic of course -- after all of those courses explaining Quantum Mechanics.

The comma even is where the decimal point goes.
